We all know that transportation can entail a whole lot of variables.  However, I would like to keep this information specific to the general Ottawa Valley area!

Public Bus Service 

One of the biggest assets Ottawa has is our public transportation system and it is getting better every year.  Our OC Transpo (Ottawa-Carleton Tranpso) includes the bus system and an O-Train which currently runs North-South.  OC Transpo is set up by Transit Stations which are centralized large bus stops, local bus routes that run through residential areas, north-south and east-west routes which are long routes that meet up with the local routes at the Transit Stations. Then during rush hours, OC Transpo adds Express Services & Rush Hour Services which take commuters directly from their residential areas to the downtown core.
